How does Rudolph know when Christmas is coming?

He checks his calen-deer!

No more bad holiday jokes, we promise. However, troopers did get into the spirit this weekend at the annual “Reindeer Run!”

On December 18, troopers joined hundreds of people in Olympia to take part in the certified 5k race or 1-mile Candy Cane run benefitting the Olympia-Thurston County Crime Stoppers. Our mascot, Trooper Ted E. Bear, even made a special appearance- busting out some serious dance moves. We’ll let you be the judge on how good they were!

If you couldn’t tell from the enthusiastic dancing, the Washington State Patrol was excited to take part in the event which included a “Toys for Tots” drop-off location, a visit from Santa himself, and much more. To see photos from the race, check out the “Reindeer Run” Facebook page here:

Looking forward to next year!
